Chapter 130: "Oda's Move"

The chapter begins with Suzuki and Yoshida watching the government's announcement on TV. Suzuki quickly points out that the people forcing the announcement to be broadcast are using the same daggers that those of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's Enkou unit use. Suzuki believes that the government wants to keep NIN in check prior to the tripartite summit that will take place coming up (9:00 AM at the National Diet Building, if you'll remember). Suzuki does some theorycrafting in her head but acknowledges that there are too many Schrödinger's cats (factors) for her to be able to predict.
We cut back to the shinobi who's meant to be delivering the date and time of the UN meeting to Kato. They pass by the Kei truck that Kato and Igarashi had been riding in and find one of UN's self-destructing drones floating in the bed. It floats up and out, and the shinobi follows it down the tunnel.
Soon enough, they find Kato. He's sitting up on what appears to be a pylon. Kato thanks the shinobi for their efforts, and the shinobi nervously moves to leave. Kato asks, "What do you Genin think about all this?" The shinobi, stammering, replies that it doesn't matter to them who's in charge.
This proves Kato's hypothesis correct, that no matter who leads NIN, it doesn't effect a large majority of the organization. The shinobi turns to leave, but Kato stops them. He mentions the location as being notoriously hard to track, saying that his leg is injured and that he won't be able to move until morning. The shinobi walks off.
Not too far away, the shinobi comments that Kato had managed to see right through their intentions. They reach toward their neck and removes a mask, revealing themselves to be one of the twin shinobi. Their twin stands beside them in Marishiten. They question momentarily how they'll be able to track down Igarashi and get their revenge in the huge riverbank. But they remind themselves... to Igarashi, they're the prey. And he'll come to hunt them on his own.
Another slightly shorter chapter with two spreads. Been getting a lot of those lately. Sorry for the overall lack of chapters, I've been working on a ton of stuff behind the scenes along with my classes. I hope you'll get to see the fruits of all that sometime soon.
