"Yui backstory! Yay! Um! I'm sorry! If I ever said that she was unduly cruel to Anzu, I apologize. Well, not that what she does isn't reprehensible, but it's not like it's impossible to see where it comes from. I thought we'd already seen the peak of this series' brutality in Ikoma's time through the wringer, but... I'm hardly holding onto my guts here.
We finally got (basically) confirmation that Ikoma's Sou-chan is Yui's husband and Anzu's father! A few of our eagle-eyed readers had managed to catch the two wearing the same shirt in previous chapters, but now we get a proper name drop for the family man. Now, I have to wonder; do you think Yui would recognize Soutaro's playing through Ikoma, given the chance?
